By purchasing jewellery from or accessing the website of Mahendra Jewellers, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all showroom and website transactions unless stated otherwise.

1. Product Care & Responsibility

Jewellery ornaments are delicate by nature. Mahendra Jewellers shall not be responsible for any damage, wear, tear, or breakage after the ornament is sold and delivered.

2. Billing & Receipt Policy

• Ornaments will not be purchased or exchanged without an authentic/original bill.
• For jewellery sold by Mahendra Jewellers, the original bill and jewellery identification report (in case of diamond jewellery) must be produced at the time of exchange or purchase.

3. Exchange / Buyback of Old Jewellery

For exchange or purchase of old or used ornaments:

• Labour charges
• Cost of stones, pearls, colour stones
• Appropriate loss of weight
• Solder percentage
• Applicable taxes at the time of purchase

will be deducted as per prevailing norms.

4. Rate Difference

There will always be a difference between the sale and purchase rates of Gold, Platinum, and Silver.
All exchanges and purchases are subject to current market rates and policies applicable on that day.

5. Plating & Studded Articles

• No guarantee is provided for any kind of plating done on ornaments or articles.
• Studded, gold-plated, or silver-plated articles will not be exchanged or bought back.

6. Payments & Delivery

• In case of cheque payments, delivery of jewellery will be given only after cheque realisation and confirmation by our bank.
• Payments may be accepted via Cash, UPI, NEFT, Card, or other approved modes.

7. Eligibility Criteria

• Only individuals 18 years of age or above are eligible to purchase or transact.
• Persons legally incapable of entering into contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 are not eligible.
• By using the website or making a purchase, you confirm compliance with Indian laws.

8. Pricing & Taxes

• Jewellery prices are subject to change without prior notice.
• Customers will be charged the price applicable on the date of purchase.
• Applicable CGST / SGST / IGST will be charged as per government regulations.

9. PAN Card Requirement

• As per Income Tax regulations, PAN card is mandatory for purchases exceeding ₹2,00,000.
• Orders exceeding this amount may be kept on hold until PAN verification is completed.
• Failure to provide PAN details may result in order cancellation.

10. Customisation Orders

• Customised jewellery is made based on customer requirements.
• Delivery timelines may vary depending on design complexity.
• Once confirmed, customised orders cannot be cancelled or refunded.

11. Jurisdiction

All disputes, if any, shall be subject to Kolhapur jurisdiction only.

12. Limitation of Liability

Mahendra Jewellers shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect or consequential loss
• Market rate fluctuations
• Differences in appearance due to lighting or display devices
• Delays caused by circumstances beyond control

13. Website Content & Intellectual Property

All website content including text, images, logos, and designs are the property of Mahendra Jewellers and may not be reused, copied, or reproduced without written permission.

14. Changes to Terms

Mahendra Jewellers reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website or services implies acceptance of updated terms.

15. Force Majeure

Mahendra Jewellers shall not be held responsible for delays or failures caused due to events beyond control including natural calamities, government regulations, strikes, pandemics, or transport disruptions.
